Valentine's Day

Yep. It's that day. The day some people romanticize while other people dread. Me, personally, is not really leaning toward either side. I mean I enjoy the chocolate and cupcakes and cookies(I may have eaten my weight's worth today. :)) and the thought of love. I have always been a sucker for anything lovey dovey, but at the same time I don't see the point. I mean people rush to buy all these things on on specific day. What about all the others? I mean I would rather be surprised on a random day and feel the genuine love rather than have someone rush around and feel the need to buy others things. I am not just saying this because I personally don't have a valentine (that's a guy. I have some valentines that are my best friends. i love them). I swear. i mean i really hope one day I will have someone to love every day for the rest of my life, but i  mean i'm only thirteen so i still have a lot of time. Anyway let's get back to what I was talking about. I feel like maybe at one point valentine's day was about love but now it is about who can get the most stuff and stores lap that attitude up. Stores like Target and Walmart started stocking up with valentines' goods in the beginning of January. That is ridiculous. It's sad that people think that to show their love to someone else is to buy them things. Love/'lev/:noun: a feeling of strong or constant affection for another person. Not one word in that definition says you need to buy anyone anything. It doesn't say to show someone you love them you need to make them cookies. It doesn't say you need to buy someone a super expensive piece of jewelry to show that you love them and want to be with them forever. It says none of that. It doesn't say it has to between lovers. Love can be between family and friends. Love can be to yourself. To love someone you need to first be able to love yourself to  certain extent. You don't have t think you are perfect or a goddess, but you need to think you are pretty dam cool. because you are. Remember that everyone's perception of you is different. Even if you don't think you are drop dead gorgeous, there are a lot of people that do think that. So if you don't have a valentine, don't worry, treat yourself. Watch Netflix, eat your favorite foods, paint your nails, have a spa night with yourself. And treasure all the love you have in your life. I love you.
Look at yourself in the mirror. You are beautiful <3
Treat yourself. I recommend frozen yogurt. This was from a while ago, but it was valentines day colors :)

THE PROCESS OF ME EATING PIZZA. PINEAPPLE PIZZA>>>>>

THIS IS MY IDEAL VALENTINE DAY FOOD AS YOU CAN TELL. AND I JUST REALIZED THAT THE ONLY PINK I'M WEARING IS THE BAND OF MY YOGA PANTS….I NEED TO WEAR MORE COLOR.
