He for she
Sometimes it feels as though life would be better if everyone were blind. They would see one another for what they really were. What would life be like if it didn't matter what size your jeans were. What would life be like if it was ok for girls to have hair on their body. What would life be like if feminism wasn't so looked down up. Feminism is not about making men look bad. It is about men and women having equal rules. For there to be no double standards. For girls to not be forced into thinking that to be happy they need a prince charming. For boys to know that you're aloud to be sensitive and that it doesn't make you any less of a man. There are so many things that are put in our minds as young children that have been passed down for so long. Why is not ok for me to show my shoulders but a guy can walk around shirtless if he wanted to. Why is that if one doesn't like another find it ok to call them a whore or a bitch or anything in between. Why is it wrong for me to speak up about what i believe in and how i want things to go resulting into me being called bossy while the opposite gender is called assertive and strong. What would it be like if girls could walk around seeing the beauty of the night without having to worry that there might be a chance that someone might be looking at them in a frightening way, picking away at their innocence like paint peeling off a wall. Is that right? We have to come together both men and women. It can't be done without the voice of the other. We need stop saying what would be like and start to say what can we do now to make it be like.
I love your blog so much~
